At the IT department, exciting development work is underway, with several major reforms combining the renewal of technology, processes, and skills.
In our system development, we use, to mention a few - distributed microservice architecture, container platform, Java, JavaScript frameworks, MQ, and SpringBoot.
We work with both custom-developed and standard systems, and right now we are building a completely new system support for the Transition Study Support.
Based on the needs of the business, you plan and manage your own day. You work in teams where we have high trust in each other's abilities, learn from each other, and solve challenges together. Job Responsibilities
As a system developer with us, you work in a team close to other system developers, IT specialists in testing and requirements, scrum masters, architects, and product owners.
The team works to develop new IT support, ensure that existing IT support functions today as they did yesterday, and that these are continuously improved to better meet our internal and external customers' expectations. Together in the team, you are responsible for understanding and translating the business needs into future-proof solutions.
Your area of responsibility as a system developer includes new development, further development, management, troubleshooting, and bug fixing. You also contribute to the work with requirements management, analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
In the role of system developer with a focus on frontend, you will become the team's primary specialist in the area. At the same time, we see that you have an interest in and experience with backend development.
The team works with a curious and learning approach where the willingness and ability to acquire new knowledge and share knowledge is an important part of everyday life and a prerequisite for both personal development and joint deliveries.
Qualifications
You have:
- Higher education, university, or vocational training in IT, or equivalent work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Several years of relevant experience working with frontend development in Angular or similar frameworks (e.g., React/Vue)
- Several years of relevant experience in all phases of the development work within system development
- Several years of relevant experience working with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
- Experience in system development in Java
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish
- Good knowledge of English
Meritorious:
- Experience working with Typescript or similar
- Experience working with Tailwind CSS or similar
- Experience in automated testing, e.g., with Playwright or similar
- Experience from development work where accessibility issues have been included according to WCAG
- Experience in microservice architecture and container management with e.g., Openshift and ArgoCD or similar
- Experience working with frameworks, tools, and version control such as SpringBoot, Jenkins, Maven, and GIT or similar.
